This vessel is a modern-design tug equipped with an azimuth stern-drive (ASD) propulsion system, offering high maneuverability and good performance. The propulsion system comprises two main engines, air starters, two steerable rudders and two fixed-pitch propellers within nozzles. The vessel is designed for towing on the hook and for pushing operations. It can be used for harbor operations, coastal berthing, towing offshore platforms and also firefighting operations. It features a compact structure on the forward deck and an extensive deck area aft. The deck structure and the living quarters beneath it are arranged to accommodate a total of 8 officers and crew.

The extensive after deck behind the superstructure is suitable for carrying more than 30 tonnes of cargo, with a capacity of 3 tonnes per square meter. A two-speed, heavy-duty hydraulic towing/anchor-handling winch is installed at the forward part of the main deck. The hull and superstructure are fully welded and made of grade-A marine steel. All materials and equipment are of the marine type and suitable for this category of vessel.

This vessel is also equipped with auxiliary equipment such as various pumps, air conditioning, an air-supply system, an air compressor, internal and external firefighting, radar, safety equipment, marine navigation equipment, internal and external communications, hydraulic units, electrical systems, etc.
