This vessel is designed and built as a search-and-rescue craft. It belongs to the series of monohull vessels with high maneuverability and an advanced navigation system. The hull is made of marine-grade aluminum alloy 5083, which offers high strength and good corrosion resistance.

The propulsion system consists of two engines with waterjet drive. The vessel’s top speed is 35 knots. It is equipped with central air-conditioning, fuel tanks of 3,600-liter capacity, 700 liters of fresh water, internal and external firefighting systems, a suitable communication system, navigation equipment, and welfare and health facilities for the crew.

The vessel’s operating speed in calm water, an ambient temperature of 45 °C, a water temperature of 35 °C and 95% humidity over a 24-hour period is 20 knots. The vessel also performs additional tasks, including a 4-tonne towing hook and a 1.2-tonne crane mounted on board.
