A multi-purpose vessel capable of navigating in ports and on the open sea, whose main purpose is to collect pollutants spread across the sea surface. The recovery system on this vessel is of the internal-equipment type (comprising a crane arm and a sweeping-arm collector that deploys out from the vessel’s hull).

This vessel is also equipped with systems able to contain and extinguish fires resulting from burning pollutants on the sea surface or on vessels carrying such materials. It can be fitted with a dynamic-positioning system and a helicopter landing pad.

The vessel will be built in accordance with the requirements of classification societies for craft intended to operate as oil-spill recovery vessels in coastal areas and on the open sea. Its hull form improves seakeeping and provides good stability up to sea state 6. It is designed and built to withstand the applied loads. Its interior is designed for 22 persons, and the superstructure at the bridge is designed to provide good all-round visibility.

The deck area also has adequate strength for installing the crane and the oil-recovery equipment. The capacities of the fuel, fresh-water and pollutant-collection tanks are 250, 50 and 550 cubic meters respectively.
