These vessels are modern, twin-screw seagoing tugs suitable for operating in coastal waters. They feature a compact deck structure forward and an extensive deck area aft with a loading capacity of 2 tonnes per square meter. The single chined hull and the superstructure are fully welded and made of grade-A marine steel.

All materials and equipment are of the marine type and suitable for this category of vessel. The deck structure and the living quarters beneath it are arranged to accommodate a total of 8 officers and crew. The vessel’s propulsion system consists of two marine engines, each driving a fixed-pitch propeller within a fixed nozzle. These engines have a closed cooling system and air starters. These vessels have fuel tanks, fresh-water tanks, sewage tanks and foam tanks.

A hydraulic crane and a hydraulic winch are installed at the after part of the deck. These vessels are also equipped with auxiliary equipment such as various pumps, air conditioning, an air-supply system, an air compressor, internal and external firefighting, radar, safety equipment, marine navigation equipment, internal and external communications, hydraulic units, electrical systems, etc.
