The 3,300-tonne landing craft is a multi-purpose carrier vessel which, owing to its hull form and the design of its bow, stern and flat midship bottom, is able to beach so that it can load and unload cargo over the bow ramp. The vessel’s superstructure is located aft, and its living quarters are provided for 11 crew members.

The 3,300-tonne landing craft has a propulsion system as well as auxiliary and ancillary systems such as diesel generators, fresh-water, fuel and seawater pumps, and water and fuel tanks beneath the deck. The hull is double-hulled in the area of the fuel tanks. In addition to the water and fuel consumption tanks, this vessel is also able to carry cargo on its deck.

The spacious deck area forward of the superstructure provides suitable loading for packaged cargo, containers and trailers. The vessel’s deck is suitable for carrying a cargo of approximately 4 tonnes per square meter and has a capacity of 18 trailers.
