These vessels, with a monohull or catamaran hull, are designed and built to carry 30–120 passengers. Their construction is suitable for passenger operations in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea. The operating conditions considered for the vessel range up to a maximum air temperature of 51 °C and 98% relative humidity, down to a minimum of 5 °C; the Persian Gulf water temperature is 34 °C.

The vessel’s structural layout is designed in accordance with the rules for passenger vessels, for a navigation radius of 300 nautical miles with 120 passengers plus 5 crew. All materials and equipment used in the vessel are of the marine type and suitable for this kind of vessel.

The suitable design and construction of this vessel give it good seakeeping up to sea state 2–3.
