Ultrasonic Antifouling System
In the marine industry, the accumulation of living organisms — bacteria, diatoms, algae, barnacles and mussels — on artificial surfaces through adhesion, growth and reproduction is known as biofouling. The formation of biofouling on surfaces promotes corrosion of structures and marine vessels.
The ultrasonic antifouling system is a modern technique for removing all kinds of fouling from the hulls and propulsion systems of marine vessels. Using high-frequency waves, it inhibits the growth of organisms and the formation of biofilm on the hull and on the inner surfaces of piping systems, thereby removing biofilm from these surfaces.
