The Marine Industries Organization Is One of Our Country's Most Innovative and Pioneering Industrial Organizations
According to the public relations of the Marine Industries Organization, Rear Admiral Rastegari, head of the organization, among managers and a group of the organization’s young people, emphasizing trust in the youth and the use of young managers at the highest managerial and industrial levels, stated: thank God, the Marine Industries Organization is full of capable young managers and personnel — people who are the builders of the future of the organization and of Islamic Iran.
He added: entering the field of exports and the country’s Marine Industries Transformation Plan as the new vision of this organization has enabled it, as a living, dynamic and active organization, to achieve great accomplishments.
Referring to the organization’s entry into the export arena, Rear Admiral Rastegari said: we thank God that we have entered the field of exports; I hope that, relying on educated managers and the capability and energy of the youth, we can gain a greater share in this global arena.
Referring to the importance of the country’s Marine Industries Transformation Plan, he stated: it can confidently be said that the Marine Industries Organization is one of the most innovative and pioneering industrial organizations in our country, which — by proposing the idea of the Marine Industries Transformation Plan, pursuing it, taking on more than 45 percent of the plan itself and building 76 vessels — has drawn a new horizon for the marine industry and for the Marine Industries Organization.
The head of the Marine Industries Organization went on to note: in order to fulfill the new missions of the Marine Industries Organization, we face two phenomena — circumstantial and obligatory.
In this regard he added: on the circumstantial side we face four factors. The first is the sanctions conditions; today we are witnessing the most severe possible sanctions in the technological, economic and industrial fields. The second factor is the impossibility of transferring foreign-sourced currency and financial resources and getting them to the producers. The third issue we face is supplying equipment and parts that are readily available to manufacturers in other countries.
Emphasizing the organization’s commitment to delivering vessels on time, Amir Rastegari said: we are obliged to build the vessels within the agreed timeframe, with quality and of course at a competitive price, and alongside these matters to compete with foreign rivals in other countries as well. Had we wanted to look at this issue conservatively, we might not have entered the arena of the Transformation Plan, because the main responsibility of the Marine Industries Organization is something else; but we believe that had we not entered this arena, the country’s marine industry would have continued on its path relying on foreign industries, and we would not have witnessed the growth and flourishing of the indigenous marine industry.
Amir Rastegari further noted: the future of the country’s marine industry depends on the performance of the Marine Industries Organization. If we act correctly, the country’s marine industry will flourish, and we will reach a point where no one will allow themselves to order vessels from abroad and pay this country’s currency into the accounts of foreign companies.
He added: on this path we must strengthen our belief and conviction in success, and have faith that this path will guarantee the success and future of the marine industry and of the Marine Industries Organization. We must strengthen the belief in success within ourselves; on the other hand, we must carry out our duties well — we are industrialists and have entered a race, and on this path we must move, like runners, with all our strength and, of course, with hope.
Amir Rastegari described alignment and convergence as the driving engine of any organization and said: obedience to orders, discipline, and the alignment of the organization’s staff are among the conditions for the organization’s success. Your work is a very great work, so we must be fully prepared and move forward with strength, so that we can pass this path well and successfully as in the past. Our outlook on the future of the marine industries is very bright.
Amir Rastegari concluded: I believe that those who work in the marine field, due to the breadth and complexity of the knowledge that exists in this domain, have a comprehensive view of issues, because in the marine field all systems, subsystems and platforms exist, and it is considered a very complex industry; this complexity and breadth gives our young managers a far-sighted perspective, and we must make greater use of these vast capacities and young personnel to achieve more dynamism and innovation.
