26 Vessels Sent to the Flood-Stricken Khuzestan Region
Rear Admiral Rastegari said: in accordance with the measures of Defense Minister Brigadier General Hatami to set up the Ministry of Defense’s “Ashourayan” public-aid base in Khuzestan and support flood victims, and in order to continue serving our dear compatriots, the organization dispatched 26 vessels along with its specialist personnel to the region. He went on to announce the dispatch of 90 products needed in the flood-stricken Khuzestan province and added: these products include floaters and other water-related items used to facilitate movement and to build bridges. Previously, the Marine Industries Organization had also prepared 32 vessels to speed up the relief process in Golestan and Mazandaran provinces.
